Today we had Erik's Birthday Party, he will be 7 tomorrow, and he was so excited. We had 21 kids come all together, and it was really fun. It is amazing what a good time they had together. I am so happy so many of the kids from his class could come, it made it really special. Now, I have to say that I learned on thing from this party and that is that I will NEVER be a professional cake decorator. I decided to try my hand at decorating my own cake for his party, and it was a disaster. I actually ended up running to Wal-Mart at 10:30 last night and buying a cake so we would have a cake for today. I was happy with my cupcakes though, I like they way they turned out.

It looks like a fun party!! I am not a cake decorator either but I still try to make them. For Heather's 5th B-day I made her a castle cake and worked at it for a long time. I put it on my kitchen counter cause I didn't want the kids messing with it and what you know, Roger comes in the kitchen to hang out ~pours himself a drink and goes over where the cakes was and then sits on it. Yeah it was too late to run to Walmart to get another so we just managed and served it just like that. Yeah I was not a happy camper!! memories, memories uh.
I don't remember about tortuguita, maybe I will after you tell me. Ooh ~ Violet? I don't know
